My very slow rooting.

Rooting a doll is something that takes me forever these days.
At the moment I'm rooting a Fei Yen baby with very dark mohair. I think this little one is a girl. This mining I've just taken time to stick the head and arms into an outfit for a photo. This is supposed to be a big baby , 22 or 23 inches.
As you can see the hair is coming on and another week should finish me, mind you I said that to myself last week and here I still am!

I have a bit of a rooting queue at the moment, not unusual given how much I love painting and am soon slow at rooting.

Just a little update

I didn't realise it had been a whole month since I posted. I've been busy doing lots of things
I completed painting my Chun Mei - but she's not quite ready yet. I have to put her wig on ( this has mysteriously vanished but inevitably will turn up) and put her together. I love these big girls, so much fun to dress and pose.

I also managed to get Megan, my second Tibby finished and she's just going home to France tomorrow.

Everything I was rooting has been abandoned as a friend has asked me to finish off a kit for her and I am busy rooting it at the moment.( slowly as usual)

In the meantime I am painting a couple of kits with nothing looking finished at the moment.
we have some marvellous weather so that isn't helping.

For the first time ever my Thandie kit has had an accident in the oven . I was totally distracted by the arrival of my granddaughter and completely forgot about it, total disaster, the head has a crack right round the back, and I was so pleased with the colour I had achieved , never mind onward!!!
